A Quality Chimney Cleaning Can Make The Difference Between A Comfortable Winter Or A Complete Disaster.

Chimney fires are a leading cause of home structure fires. Municipal fire departments in the US responded to an estimated annual average of 48,530 home structure fires caused by heating equipment in 2014–2018.

Any wood burning appliance should be inspected annually even if the unit has not been used frequently. For those who burn in their stove or fire place often, a cleaning may be required as frequently as once per month.

We Give You Peace Of Mind By Cleaning The Highly Flammable Creosote Out Of Your Chimney.

What Is Creosote?

Creosote is made up of the microscopic particles of smoke that accumulate over time. These particles are in fact flammable and once enough builds up, then it creates a fire hazard. If the creosote in your pipe ignites, then the result is a chimney fire. Chimney fires are extremely hazardous, because chimneys are not designed to handle that level of heat. Chimney fires can extend beyond the chimney and get into the structure itself. The best way to get rid of this hazard is to have a chimney cleaning performed at least annually.

How It Works….

Typically we try to sweep from the top down. Occasionally we can’t always do a top down cleaning. We do have additional tools and capability to sweep from the bottom up for the more difficult set ups. We get all the creosote and ash cleaned up and then we perform a level I inspection which involves a very basic inspection of critical components to ensure that your unit is safe to use.
